The RF design tool you didn't know you deserved it
Latest Mystic Version: 2.3
Release date: 2022/10/22
.: Mystic does calculate the system RF performance
Calculation of RF performance parameters including gain, noise figure, IP3 and IM3 products.
Mystic can be used to analyze both transmitters and receivers as well as
link-budgets and signal conditioning circuits.
Output is split in two sections: RF system performance results at stage level and at system level.
Chain single stage level results:
- Pin: Input power at the considered stage level
- Gain: Gain at the considered stage level
- NF: Noise Figure at the considered stage level
- IIP3: Input IP3 at the considered stage level
- Pout: Output power modelling compression effects
- Linearity warning: visual warning when stages reach compression or saturation
System level results:
- Pin, Gain, Pout, NF: referred to the complete chain
- IM3: third order intermodulation products, input and output referenced
- IP3: third order intercept point, input and output referenced
.: Mystic is very easy to use
Working with data files in Mystic is similar to using a spreadsheet,
but the design is guided and supervised to avoid errors.
Each component is defined row by row using the following parameters:
- Amplifier
- Attenuator
- Filter
- Loss
- Mixer
You can define any device using one of these main types (for example a whole PCB or the free-space loss).
Gain, Noise Figure, IIP3, P1dB and Psat must be specified at the frequency of interest.
#Name Gain [dB] NF [dB] IIP3 [dBm] P1dB [dBm] PCB 5 17.52 10.06 18.5 Mixer -10 10 14.95 -4.05 Pre Amplifier 19.22 9.73 7 13.2 Filter -3 Driver Amplifier 15 9 19.74 23.3 Power Amplifier 12.5 9 29 26.87 Loss -2.5

Lite and PRO versions differ as described in the comparison table. -
How much should I donate?
Any donation gives access to the PRO version. -
Do you offer academic licenses?
Yes. Please see the contact us page.
